This morning I was listening to NPR, and heard a ten-year-old story from the great sports commentator Frank Deford… all about Yogi Berra. And, as i suspected, it was being aired because Berra passed away last night.
I grew up in New York during the '70s and '80s… and Berra was a regular character in my world. Not that I was any real fan of baseball (or any sport, for that matter), but I loved his humor – intentional or otherwise, so I always paid attention when I saw him on TV or in the papers.
In homage to the greatest of the one-liners, I jumped over to one of my favorite image creation tools, Share As Image, to create some image quotes to share here.
